Academic Requirements

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (overall)
  • Must be 18 years or older at program start
  • No first-year students allowed (must have completed at least 2 college semesters)
  • Two semesters of college Spanish (or equivalent)
  • Mandatory language course for students scoring below B1 on the onsite placement test

Program Inclusions

  • Courses in Spanish and English at the PEL Program (12–18 credits)
  • Homestay accommodation with breakfast & dinner included, plus a lunch stipend
  • Small class sizes for personalized attention
  • Local speaking partners to practice Spanish
  • Internships and Service Learning opportunities for credit (available in Spanish)
