Program Description:

Study Abroad in Buenos Aires

The Global Health program is designed to enhance awareness of health issues in Argentina and the U.S., build cultural competence and sensitivity through interactions with local public health organizations, and facilitate understanding of the challenges of working in resource-poor areas. Learn how to become an objective observer of various cultural healing practices unique to Argentina and Latin America in the Comparative Healing Systems course, and explore the complex challenges facing human health today—like water security, food security, and climate change—in the Global Environmental Health course. You may choose an Early Start option to jump-start your Spanish language proficiency before the session begins.

The CEA Buenos Aires Center turns the city into your classroom. Choose courses in liberal arts, social sciences, and international business, taught in English and Spanish, and designed to take advantage of the city’s rich history, culture, and political environment. Enjoy courses that best meet your academic, personal, and career interests as you explore all the city offers. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, upon completion of their program.
