Buenos Aires provides students with an ideal setting in which to study abroad, having retained many old European traditions while emerging as a political, commercial, and industrial center of Argentina. The greater Buenos Aires area boasts more than 13 million people -- with 3 million within the city limits -- and is famous for its diverse multinational population, rich landscape, and vibrant culture. The city's residents exude a warmth and friendliness that invites you to hone your Spanish language skills while engaging in your surroundings.
As a CEA student, watch and learn how to dance the tango, Argentina's national dance, or debate politics in a neighborhood café. Don't forget to check out Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, or the Colón Theater. Explore the country's vast and dramatic landscape from the subtropical North to the sub-Antarctic South. Take advantage of the city's status as a transportation hub and explore even more of Argentina, including lguazú Falls, Mendoza, Bariloche, Mar del Plata, Tigre, and Córdoba.
