The University of Sydney is one of Australia's largest and most prestigious universities. Our current enrolment of approximately 49,000 students (including almost 11,000 international students representing 130 nationalities) enjoy an academic experience of the highest quality.

The University of Sydney has one of the largest Study Abroad and Exchange programs in Australia. Each year more than one thousand students come to or go from the university through one of our established international networks. With the country's broadest range of university studies and an extensive list of international partners, the University of Sydney provides excellent opportunities for both incoming and outgoing students to internationalize their studies.

Students coming to the University of Sydney

Every year, hundreds of students from around the world are welcomed to the University of Sydney under the Study Abroad and Student Exchange programs. These programs allow you to complete a semester or a year of your degree at the University of Sydney. Most courses are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Depending on your home University's grading requirements, you may also be able to have the results obtained at the University of Sydney credited towards your degree back home.The Study Abroad program is a fee-paying program at the University of Sydney.
