Program Description:
Univ of HeidelbergIthaca College has an exchange agreement with SRH University Heidelberg, and IC students can apply to participate during a fall or spring semester.  Admission to exchange programs can become competitive, as there are a limited number of spaces available each semester (typically no more than 1 - 2 placements per exchange, per semester).  Occasionally an exchange will be closed in a given semester, with or without prior notice.  For more information regarding spaces available, check with the Office of International Programs.

Heidelberg is world-famous for being one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.  SRH University Heidelberg is a University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule). This means providing students with a scientifically based education, tailored to the demands of professional life. Courses tend to be more career-oriented than programs at other universities, which usually focus on science and research. Heidelberg's professors have years of experience, both in industry and academia.

The academic year at SRH University Heidelberg is divided into eight 5-week blocks. In each block 8 ECTS, at the most, may be taken. Exams take place at the end of each 5-week block. This table lists all Business courses offered in English with the corresponding dates at the top of each column.

Students may begin their semester abroad at SRH University Heidelberg at the beginning of any block and stay for a minimum of three blocks. This gives them great flexibility with regards to the timing of their study abroad. Ithaca College students usually start in Block 8 and stay until Block 2.
